Mental Health First Aid courses and education to better inform and equip your people.

Wade was outstanding. He delivered the course with extensive knowledge and shared experience. He welcomed sharing from the group and undertook this course with sensitivity and care to ensure the wellbeing of attendees was always priority. Couldn't speak more highly enough of him. A wonderful human being. A true gift.

Informed Mental Health exists to inform and educate workplaces and communities about Mental Health. Specifically, Informed Mental Health delivers the accredited Mental Health First Aid course, designed and developed by Mental Health First Aid Australia.

Mental Health awareness.

Each year, 1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental illness. Many people, particularly in the workplace, are not trained or confident to offer assistance. Physical First Aid is accepted and widespread in our community, however the same can’t be said for Mental Health First Aid. The Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course informs people and provides the skills to help someone who they're concerned about or need to assist in a crisis.

Can you support someone in a crisis?

Are your staff/coaches/leaders First Aid qualified and able to respond to a medical emergency? They probably are, but are they Mental Health First Aid qualified? If not, why not? Being informed about mental illnesses and what poor mental health looks like allows for staff to be better prepared to have conversations around mental health and to better respond when people aren’t feeling great or in a crisis. Mental Health First Aid is a great qualification to have and shows your workforce that the health and wellbeing of your staff is important.

Mental Health First Aid Accreditation courses and options.

Your mental health is as important as your physical health.
